Day 1 : Meet up in Casablanca airport and drive to Rabat: 2 hours drive

Upon arrival, we will meet you at the airport and drive to Casablanca and then to Rabat. In Casablanca you will see the Hassan II Mosque, the largest outside of Mecca and experience the “Cornish” coastline. Later, we will depart for Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Where we will spend the night in a Raid that is in the Medina of Rabat.

Day 2 : Rabat – To Chefchaouen: 5 hours drive

After breakfast, we will visit the Hassan Tower in Rabat and then we will drive to Chefchaouen through the city of Knitra and the Rif Mountain, crossing Wazzan and other Rif villages. We will be in Chefchaouen in the early afternoon.

Day 3 : Chefchaouen

An easy day in Chefchaoune to explore one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco, one of the impressive villages at the foot of the Rif mountains The medina of Chefchaouen had a Spanish style square surrounded by many craft shops, rooftop restaurants and coffee shops. where you will spend the night in a nice place to enjoy the breeze and the beauty of nature.

Day 4 : Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After your breakfast in the raid our authentic journey will start towards volubilis crossing through Wazan and other rif villages, in Volubilis we will discover the Roman ruins and learn about the archaeological site of Moroccan history, after the visit of the ruins we will change our way. to the 17th century heritage city of Meknes, where we will stop for lunch and hang out around the huge historic walls of the medina, Bab el Mansour and enjoy a visit to the Moulay Ismail sanctuary. After the visit of Meknes, we will go directly to the city of Fez, where you will spend the night.

Day 5 : Fes tour

After breakfast on your raid, you will begin to explore the oldest city in Morocco, walking through its alleys and small streets. Our visit begins by visiting the gate of the Royal Palace, the Jewish barracks and the first Mellah built in Morocco, built during the 16th century. We will make sure that you visit all the sites with cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the tanneries, the Attarine museum and the Mulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit the tile cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fez.

Day 6 : Day 6: Fes – Ilfrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga : 7 hours drive

After breakfast we will depart for Merzouga through the Middle Atlas region. We will drive through Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland’ of Morocco and the cedar forests of Azrou, where we may stop to feed the monkeys. We will continue to Midelt where we will have lunch. We will then follow the Ziz River through the valley and stop to see the Ziz Gorges on our way to Merzouga.

Day 7 : Day 7: Merzouga – Khamlia – Rissani – Erg Chebbi

We will explore the desert region and the wonder that is the Erg Chebbi desert dunes. We will do a circuit through the desert dunes where you will have the opportunity to see the way of life of the nomads and the amazing changing contrasts of the desert. We will visit the ‘black village’ of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musicians. We will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch in the ancient capital of Rissani. In the afternoon we will ride the camels to see the sunset over the dunes and we will spend the night in the desert camp. We will have a traditional tagine dinner, drink delicious mint tea and listen to traditional Berber music while watching the stars and the crescent moon in the amazing Sahara desert.

Day 8 : Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

We will wake up early to see the spectacular sunrise over the dunes before making our way back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. We will cross the palm lined valleys of Tourog and Tinjdad to arrive to Todra Gorge. We will take a walk in the Todra Gorges and have lunch in a local restaurant before continuing to our accommodation in the Dades Gorge.

Day 9 : Dades Gorge – El Kelaa Magona – Ouarzazate 

After breakfast we will take a walk through the gorge and then take the off-road track to see the nomad caves. We will continue through El Kelaa Magona, the Valley of the Roses and the oasis of Skoura to arrive early in the evening in Ourazazate.

Day 10 : Ouarzazate – taroudent : 5 hours drive

After breakfast, we will drive to Taroudant via Taznakht, stopping at Taliouine to visit the Safran cooperative. If your visit coincides with the saffron harvest, you will have the opportunity to meet Berber women with their families harvesting saffron in their fields. We should arrive in Taroudant in the afternoon, where you will see the ramparts and walk through the small alleys of the medina. Taroudant is often referred to as “little Marrakech” because most of its walls were built by the Saadian dynasty in the 16th century before they moved to the great “Red City”.

Day 11 : Taroudant – Essaouira

After breakfast we will go to Essaouira, traveling via Agadir, where we will stop for lunch. Agadir has a large and beautiful beach and has been a great tourist destination for many years. There we will take a short walk along the Promenade before continuing to Essaouira, the coastal route offers beautiful landscapes, an area famous for the Argan. Along the way you will see herds of goats climbing the argan trees in search of more mature food.

Day 12 : Exploring Essaouira

Breakfast is in your Riad, before a city tour. You will visit the Skala Fortress, the port, the souks and see the wood carved by craftsmen, walk through the alleys of the medina and go through the hundreds of handicrafts. Essaouira is known for its strong winds most of the year which is why it is known as the “Wind City” which attracts surfers from all over the world. Essaouira knew many civilizations, including the Portuguese occupation, which affects much of its architecture, however it remains a small town with a lot of history. Due to its size and its characteristic blue doors and washed walls, it is also considered the “Jewel of the Atlantic” of Morocco. Our visit includes Mellah, the Jewish barracks, and the beach. There is an annual festival of “Gnawa music”, where many musical groups from different parts of Africa and the world come. Normally it starts the third week of June, so if your trip coincides with this, you have the option of extending your stay one more day. Today you will have lunch Moroccan style, fish bought “cooked to order”. The afternoon is free to walk and explore on your own. Overnight accommodation is at Raid in the Medina.

Day 13 : Essaouira – Marrakech

After breakfast in your Raid, we will leave for Marrakech. On our way, as this is the land of Argan culture, there is an opportunity to visit the women’s cooperative of Argan oil, where they extract the oil that is famous for its culinary, cosmetic and medical properties. After several photo stops, you will continue your journey to Marrakech before checking into your Riad. After dinner you will enjoy strolling through the famous Jemaa El fna square, entertained by magicians, storytellers, musicians and snake charmers. Spend the night on a Medina-based raid

Day 14 : Exploring Marrakech

After breakfast you can start exploring Marrakech, “the red city of Morocco”. Your guide will make sure you see the most important historical and cultural sights, including the Saadian tombs; the El Bahia Palace and the Ben Youssef Koranic School. Lunch is in a restaurant near the square, then in the afternoon you can visit the “Majorelle Gardens” and the Koutoubia tower. Night in our Hotel/Raid. Bed & Bbreakfast.

Day 15 : Marrakech – Airport Transfer

The final day, depending on your departure time, we’ll drive you to the airport for your departure flight.
